Chilli Variety — Fataali aka Fatalli / Fatali / Fatalii

Ripe Fataali at West Dean
This is a close relative of the Habanero and originates from central Africa.
The fruits grow to between 6-9cm long and 3-4cm around; they ripen from green to a bright yellow sometimes almost orange, the plants grow to approx 40 — 60 cm high, the seeds can take a while to germinate.
It has a very high Scoville rating at between 100,000 and 300,000 and should be treated with care
