This is a close relative of the Habanero and originates from central Africa.

The fruits grow to between 6-9cm long and 3-4cm around; they ripen from green to a bright yellow sometimes almost orange, the plants grow to approx 40 — 60 cm high, the seeds can take a while to germinate.

It has a very high Scoville rating at between 100,000 and 300,000 and should be treated with care

There is an interesting web site www.fataali.net which has some articles on growing this variety and others.

Species: Capsicum chinense
