It has been a busy day for Woody from Fire Foods, it started with a 1/2 page story in The Sun about his Infinity Chilli he has just had back the results on the Scoville tests from Warwick University and at 1,067,286 SHU’s it is a hot one, higher that the current Guinness Records Holder the Bhut Jolokia at 1,041,427 SHU.
Some of you will remember we have covered this chilli a while ago before it was tested, and after seeing Darth Naga suffer, we guessed it was going to be a hot one. Woody believed it to be a cross between the 7Pot and a Trinidad Scorpion.
So far Woody has not only been in The Sun, but also rumour has it The Telegraph as well, the BBC has picked it up on there web site as well as being on BBC Radio 5 “5 live Drive” Programme.
